What did you learn last holiday?

This holiday, stop driving your parents up the wall and learn to drive yourself round the bend (and along the straight, up the hill, into the parking bay, etc!).

You can start learning to drive at the DriveAt15.com Holiday Driving School. We are offering a mix of theory and practical driving lessons to anyone aged 14, 15, 16 or 17. Learn to drive real cars on private roads - driving licence not required.

Following a successful Summer Driving School in August 2010 we are now running the DriveAt15.com holiday driving school in other school holidays. The one-day course is held from 10:00 to 17:00 each day at either Rushmoor Arena near Aldershot or Barton Stacey near Andover.

Rushmoor Arena is a superb 58 acre site which is ideal for learning to drive, and we have exclusive use of the site during our summer driving school.

It has several private roads with a variety of junctions and areas for practicing reversing exercises.

All lessons are given by fully qualified DSA Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) in dual controlled cars, so you can enjoy learning to drive in a safe environment. Cars are fully insured for off road driving tuition for 14-year-olds, 15-year-olds, 16-year-olds and 17-year-olds on private roads.

What do Summer Driving School shared lessons offer?

Our full-day programme includes 6 hours of driver training shared between two drivers.

The programme for each day will be as follows :

1000-1300 - 3-hour session focussing on car control (e.g. clutch control, gears, steering, moving off and stopping, reversing exercises, etc)

1300-1400 - lunch break (bring a packed lunch!)

1400-1500 - Dealing with other traffic/distractions.

1500-1600 - Scavenger Hunt - a fun team challenge testing your driving and navigating skills.

1600-1700 - Free Drive** - a chance to practice whichever driving skill you want - either revisit something from earlier in the day, or try something new!

**In the October half-term sessions the 1600-1700 drive will be focussed on driving at dusk/in the dark.
